Description

Fluidra is looking for a CNC Programmer/Machinist to join our team inPhoenix, AZ.

The CNC Programmer will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining VMC 3 & 4th Axis, Swiss Type Machining, and CNC multi-spindle lathes with live tooling to produce high-precision components.

This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong technical expertise to meet rigorous quality and production standards in a fast-paced environment.

WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE

·Set up and operate VMC, Swiss, and CNC lathes in accordance with engineering drawings and work orders.

·Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and programming instructions to ensure accurate machine settings and production processes.

·Monitor machine operations, perform routine inspections, and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards.

·Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and ensure optimal machine performance.

·Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify product dimensions and tolerances.

·Maintain detailed production records, including machine logs, output data, and any deviations or issues encountered.

·Create standard work instructions to assist with the setup of new and existing programs.

·Choose appropriate tooling for machining operations with correct cutting parameters.

·Troubleshoot CNC programs and implement process improvements.

·Edit G-code manually and create custom post-processors for CAM programs to ensure optimal machine performance and accuracy.

·Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.

·Collaborate with supervisors and quality control to ensure production goals and quality standards are consistently met.

WHAT WE SEEK

·Trade school certification in Milling, Turning, and Swiss machining with a minimum of 2 years direct experience, or 4 years of direct experience operating CNC Milling, Turning, Swiss machining.

·Minimum of 3 years’ experience with Mastercam and SolidWorks.

·Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and CNC programming instructions.

·Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

·Experience using precision measuring instruments to verify product quality.

·Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities.

·Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

·Good communication skills and commitment to safety.

·Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

·Familiarity with Haas, Citizen, and DMG Mori Seki machines is a plus.
