Enterprise Data Management & Products (EDMP), a key part of our Technology organization, focuses on delivering data products that fuel business growth and unlock value, while also shaping robust data management strategies and governance solutions.

Role Description:
The Enterprise Data Office (EDO) is part of Enterprise Data Management & Platforms (EDMP), a key component of our Enterprise Technology Services organization.
We focus on delivering critical data-related initiatives that accelerate digital transformation at American Express, enhancing the overall customer experience, strengthening our data strategy and practices, and driving our continued growth.
American Express continues to invest in enterprise data management, and as part of the journey, we are seeking a Senior Analyst to drive data program management.
This role will support the management of the EDO program and project scopes and deliverables, lead stakeholder engagement, identify and mitigate risks, and address change impacts.
Primary Responsibilities:
Maintain project plans and track progress against key program milestones, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
Keep leadership-friendly minutes and track action items.
Strategically coordinate across the EDO program to identify dependencies and cross-functional opportunities that align with organizational objectives.
Skillfully engage with a diverse range of stakeholders across multiple business functions and organizational levels.
This includes workstream leads, product owners, Business Unit Data Offices, regulatory relations, Internal Audit Group (IAG), Technology, and colleagues from critical support functions.
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for project success and monitor their achievement.
Proactively identify and communicate risks, scope changes, resourcing, and financial implications to senior management, as well as driving timely resolution of identified gaps.
Support the EDO Program & Change Management team with IAG deliverables, external regulatory remediation efforts, enterprise-wide initiatives (i.e., Project Guardian, Enterprise PMO policy), and executive leadership presentations.
Qualifications:
Proven experience managing multiple, cross-functional programs and projects.
Strong track record of developing executive-friendly presentations, status reports, and program summaries for senior leadership.
Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to analyze information to identify discrepancies and recommend solutions.
Excellent communication skills, with an ability to synthesize key messages, prepare concise materials, and tailor subject matter appropriately for the audience.
Strong relationship skills with a passion for collaborating with internal and external partners, including leadership.
Proactive mindset with the ability to work well under pressure, quickly pivot to changing priorities, and passionately contribute to a dynamic environment.
Strong problem-solving and process improvement mindset.
Bachelors Degree and 2-4 years of relevant experience.
Salary Range: $89,250.00 to $150,250.00 annually + bonus + benefits
